I created this space because I know what it feels like to learn in environments that prize perfection over presence.
I believe sensitivity is not a weakness — it’s a form of intelligence.
And learning should support the whole person, not just the skill.
My approach is gentle, clear, and deeply respectful of where each learner is starting.
This is the teacher I needed.
And the space I wished existed.

I started this course after all my chidren where at school and I had time to myself during the day. I look forward to my 10 minutes to practice each day. (it's usually longer now that I am in a routine). These lessons make everything feel achievable, Mel has made my violin journey so easy in small lessons.
I started violin much later in life. But this is by far the BEST way to learn violin I have tried, supportive lessons. I finally feel confident practising on my own and even play with family members when we get together now. I can't recomend these lessons highly enough.
